This small restaurant is easy to find in a colorful building on Dixie Highway just North of Belvedere Road; it's in (East) West Palm Beach but not downtown. Unfortunately, the tiny parking lot fills up past and it's all street parking after that, on the residential roads behind the restaurant.
This restaurant is not loud, and the table seating feels intimate. At my last visit, 6 of us sat together in two long booths facing each other. It did feel squished, but it wasn't completely uncomfortable. Most of the time I've eaten here, it has been for a dinner date. I have fond memories here of conversation and slurping! There is a nice variety of dishes here to please everyone, I've found.
I love the ChiangMai noodle soup. The broth, a coconut curry, combines some of my favorite elements of Thai food with the pleasure of eating soup and the comfort of noodles! It came with veggies and beef (my choice); I mixed it all together. I love a dish that is interactive. The soup arrives in a giant bowl. At first glance, it seems like one could never finish it all in one sitting, but I almost always do.
Joy Noodle also has a tea menu, with cold and hot teas that sound awesome!
Thank you, Joy Noodle, for letting me bring in a private cake for a group dinner, and serving it with your own candles and lighter. -

I met some Yelp friends here and enjoyed some nice company and a pretty good thai meal.
The house saki was tasty and the pad thai was pretty typical for thai restaurants that was a huge plate with with noodles, carrots, edamame, egg, shrimp, but nothing spectacular.
The parking here is problematic as once the lot gets full, you have to park on the random street in front of someone's house.
The service is pretty good and many of the yelp reviews are 5 star, and i liked it here, but found it to be pretty average compared to the other Thai places in Palm Beach. -

I had extreme joy eating here with some of my yelp family. Thank you Melodie, Patty, Rachel, Bill, and Jeff for your great company. Side Note-I am opinionated in many topics and if I offended anyone I'm sorry.
Ok back to the review, the service was excellent in taking care of a table of 6. They took our orders as soon as we were ready. I did a separate order to go which they prepared as well. To go I did shrimp fried rice for Sam M. The portion was great and tasted very good. My order in the restaurant was Singaporean noodles with shrimp. I was hoping for more flavor in this dish but it felt a bit bland for my taste buds. The spicy sauce and seasoning brought to the table helped a bit. My iced Thai tea was a great and refreshing drink.
Overall a good experience but need to try one of their curry dishes next time for some flavorful eats~ -

Hello 1,200!
Wow...that came up quick! Thank you Yelp West Palm for treating some of us out on our Elite of the Month spotlights from the digest. I have never even heard of this place before and it made a mark on my heart and belly last night for a lifetime.
It's cute, small, and cozy with a whole lot of noodles. Six of us were seated in the back corner booth and we had a lovely time. There is a huge selection of noodles, rice, soups, appetizers, and teas to choose from. The noodles were tempting, but I settled for the chicken fried rice. The plate was piled high along with egg, carrot, and soy bean. I topped it off with soy sauce and it was amazing. There was no way I finished it all and the leftovers will be gone at lunch today.
Ah, my heart is still singing JOY! The friendly service as well as staff and the atmosphere hit the spot well. All of us were in awe of the food and we would definitely return for some more Joy. A tremendous thank you goes to Melodie and to Rabia, Bill, Jeff, and Rachel for an unforgettable inaugural Elite of the Month dinner! Love, love, LOVE! -

Delicious food and varied menu. The only thing I would say negatively is it is high priced compared to comparable places. Joy Noodles has nice decor and is cozy, though--a fun place to meet up with friends.
